Pickleball |
The American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) is committed to the sport of pickleball and supporting its growth. ASBA understands the importance of having safe, well-constructed and well-equipped facilities at which to play.
The purpose of this manual is to promote the quality construction, maintenance and repair of pickleball courts and facilities by providing information to builders, architects, engineers, facility owners, managers, park & rec personnel and professionals. Realizing that many pickleball courts have already been built or renovated and have been in use, the guidelines in this manual are recommended for new construction or renovations. This manual is designed to explain various choices and the rationales for those choices, so court/facility owners will be able to ask important questions to make educated decisions. USAP and ASBA are committed to providing information to assist facility owners and managers in making informed choices in order to promote the construction of quality pickleball courts and facilities.
