Maximize Your Membership – Volunteer with ASBA

Your leadership is needed! Volunteering with ASBA is a key way to maximize your membership investment. Build relationships, learn something new, and make your voice heard. All ASBA members are welcomed and encouraged to participate on a committee, advisory council, or task force. Below you will find a full summary of all ASBA volunteer opportunities along with volunteer guidelines and expectations. You may submit your interest on the form below. Please understand that submitting a volunteer interest form does not guarantee your immediate placement on a committee due to available opportunities. A member of the board will reach out to you to discuss further once your interest is received.

If you are interested in joining a committee, you must read, understand, and agree to the following:

Certified Builder volunteers may be eligible to earn recertification points for actively participating on a committee. Click here for the list of eligible volunteer activities.

Committee Overview

Volunteer terms begin on January 1 and are two (2) years in length, with a limit of two (2) terms, unless otherwise noted. If your first two (2) year term is ending and you would like to volunteer for that role for another two (2) year term, you must still complete the Volunteer Interest Form below. ASBA leadership will appoint all volunteer positions. If you have expressed interest in a volunteer group that is currently filled, you will be placed in a volunteer interest pool and we will notify you when there is an opening available.
